Reference Design Kits
As an SoC vendor, it is our focus to deliver solutions that can be rapidly turned into products. The Reference Design Kits supporting the TCW 1620 Fixed/Portable chip come complete with:
- Two complete reference Boards including dual RF front ends
- One board configured as a fully loaded 2x2 MIMO+ reference board that functions as a complete CPE
- One Board configured as a BTS emulator capable of connecting to the CPE board with limited BTS functionality for rapid bench testing bad bring up
- Full documentation
- Schematics
- All hardware and software necessary to operate the units
These boards are fully functional and support easy customization via Web-based user interface pages supported by an on-board HTTP server.
Manufacturing Support
For our manufacturing partners, TeleCIS offers a fully automated RF Tuning and Calibration program that performs these functions, stores the relevant data value on the board and can be completed in minutes. With this approach, TeleCIS has seen partners take the Reference Design Board and deliver a first cut commercial product in less than a month. This software is made available under license at no extra charge to our manufacturing partners.
 In addition, for those vendors focused on small form factor devices, TeleCIS Wireless makes available under license at no extra charge a PCB based 3.5GHz antenna design supporting more than 3dBi of gain in a small form factor.
